Greens select Miranda for Failsworth West

The Green Party have selected local branch member Miranda Meadowcroft to stand for Failsworth West in the Oldham Council local elections in May of this year.
Miranda, who is 46, was born in Oldham and attended Blue Coat School in the town.
Green Councillor Ian Barker, who represents Failsworth West, says ‘Miranda is a fantastic candidate and she'll do a great job.'
Miranda worked in the voluntary sector from leaving school and has been working in local government for the last 10 years.
